Doors Open Day at Krakow Museums

We invite you to the Bunkier Sztuki Gallery of Contemporary Art for the Doors Open Day at Krakow Museums. On Sunday, November 17, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., you will have the opportunity to visit all our exhibitions for the price of a special ticket (3 PLN).

This event is your last chance to see Kamil Kulka’s exhibition Fruits and maws. Painting, sculpture, music. Due to high interest from the audience and the media, we are extending the exhibition to November 17.  Fruits, the installation created specially for this exhibition, will be included in the Bunkier Sztuki Collection that was started in the 1960s.  During the guided tour of the exhibition at 12 noon, the artist himself will share the story of how this installation came to be.

During the Doors Open Day at Krakow Museums, we will also showcase some other artworks from the Gallery’s Collection. Select video exhibits will be displayed on the ground floor.

Furthermore, several projects of the Audio Art Festival are currently on display in the Audiovisual Hall of the Gallery. The Festival, now in its 27th edition, premieres projects by artists from all over the world, whose works are an integration of sound and visual art. At the Gallery, we will be presenting Shifting Noise Planes, the installation by Edwin Van der Heide.

We hope you also visit our bookstore, where you can buy books by the Bunkier Sztuki publishing house at a 20% discount.
