Edwin van der Heide

Edwin van der Heide is an artist, composer and researcher in the field of sound, space and interaction. He extends musical composition and musical language into spatial, interactive and interdisciplinary directions. His work comprises installations, performances and environments. The audience is placed in the middle of the work and challenged to actively explore, interact and relate themselves to the artwork.

Jan-Peter E.R. Sonntag

Born 1965 in Lübeck. Artist and composer. 1986–1998 studies of Art, Art History, Music, German Literature, Sociology and Philosophy (Aesthetics). 1989 first meeting with the German artist Franz Erhard Walther followed by collaborative performances. 1993–1995 Artistic Advisor, Stiftung Weimarer Klassik for experimental art and music in a dialogue with the current research on Nietzsche. Since 1990 he creates site-specific, interactive installations on perception of light and sound. Since 1995 work on the interface of the human body and technical/medial systems, presented in the context of the “white cube”. Lived in Oldenburg, Barcelona, lives in Berlin.
